CDK announced a multi-year renewal of its agreement with Hudson Automotive Group. CDK will provide its 51 dealerships with the CDK Dealership Xperience, an open and integrated platform that transforms how dealerships sell and service cars and operate their businesses in a digital world. Hudson will also take advantage of the CDK CRM and fixed operations solutions to help further accelerate its operations and maintain life-long relationships with its customers.

Hudson — ranked 13th on the 2024 Automotive News Top 150 Dealership Groups — is a rapidly expanding dealership group that has been a CDK customer since 2021. The newly signed agreement extends its collaboration with CDK and further strengthens the trusted partnership.

“At Hudson, we have an unwavering commitment to delivering the best possible automotive shopping experience and service to each community we serve,” said Craig Siebel, Jr., chief financial officer, Hudson Automotive Group. “We are excited to continue our relationship with CDK because of the reliability and forwarding-looking innovation of their products which cater to our evolving operational and accounting needs as we grow. Having the right tools to successfully manage our business empowers our thousands of employees to focus their energy on our customers and their needs.”

As of 2025, CDK software is relied upon to power the operations of the majority of franchise dealerships in North America, including five of the six publicly held dealership groups in the U.S. and the only publicly held dealership group in Canada.

“We are incredibly thankful for the ongoing trust and confidence Hudson places in CDK and our solutions,” said Brian MacDonald, president and CEO, CDK. “By renewing into a unified platform like the CDK Dealership Xperience, all Hudson dealerships will benefit from our simplified workflows, built-in AI analytics and reporting, and flexible experiences for both their employees and customers.”

Hudson began in 1948 as a single store location in Providence, Kentucky, and has grown into a multi-state, multi-franchise organization serving customers throughout Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina and Tennessee.
