Findlay becomes the latest dealership group to renew with CDK

CDK’s renewal tour continues.

The dealership software provider announced a multi-year renewal of its agreement with Findlay Automotive Group, which will use the CDK Dealership Xperience integrated platform in its 35 dealerships covering five states.

CDK said Findlay’s stores will also use the Modern Retail and Fixed Operations suites within the Dealership Xperience.

Findlay has been a CDK customer for more than 20 years.

“At Findlay, we strive to meet the wants, needs and requirements of today’s consumers and make their buying and servicing journeys enjoyable and consistent — no matter which one of our dealerships they choose,” Findlay chief technology officer John Steffy said.

“As we continue to grow our footprint, we know CDK provides innovative solutions that perform well at scale and a team of dedicated, reliable and knowledgeable people to support us whenever we need them. That combination proves its value day in and day out, and we are confident it will continue to well into the future.”

In the aftermath of the ransomware attack that shut down its software for two weeks in June and disrupted the operations for thousands of dealerships, CDK has rebounded, announcing renewal agreements with major North American dealership groups Holman, Greenway Automotive Group, Sonic Automotive and AutoCanada.

CDK said its software is used by the majority of franchise dealerships in North America.

“We are incredibly thankful for the longstanding relationship we have with Findlay, and we are committed to providing them with the right solutions, people and processes to help them be successful,” CDK president and CEO Brian MacDonald said. “By renewing into a unified platform like the CDK Dealership Xperience, all Findlay dealerships will continue to benefit from simplified workflows, built-in AI analytics and reporting, and flexible experiences for both their employees and customers.”
