A mechanic wearing a black shirt with ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) patches on the sleeves is crouching next to a white car's tire. He is using a handheld device to check the tire pressure. The mechanic is wearing safety glasses and is in a well-lit garage with various tools and equipment in the background.

The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) has opened registration for its spring testing. Registrants have until June 30 to sign up. After signing up, they have 90 days to schedule their tests.

ASE offers three testing options:

  1. In-person at over 450 Prometric centers
  2. ProProctor remote testing for online recertification
  3. Through the ASE renewal app for automobile certifications (A1-A9).

The registration can be completed by signing in to ASE’s website, navigating to “orders” and then “store,” and adding the desired tests to the cart and checking out. For assistance, registrants should contact ASE customer service at 800-390-6789.
